A body clad in a red bikini is already tempting enough for any male. But if you add an angelic face to that already tempting image, you get the FHM’s Sexiest Woman of the Year for 2005 .

Angel Locsin never thought of herself as sexy. This simple 20-year old is a dress-down, jeans-and-shirt kinda gal who is still a kid at heart. Since she is not a sexy star nor does she try to be sexy, she was simply shocked and surprised when she first heard about the news.

From being last years’ number six hottest babe to being at the top of the list this year, Angel’s sexy factor has gone way up. It is as high as the heights that she can soar in her hit show, Darna. It is the highest rating program in Philippine television history. The major reason for this success and most probably the reason why she is every guy’s fantasy is the famous scarlet Darna costume.

Angel shyly admits that she has never worn a two-piece bathing suit or the like, prior to her donning the sensuous heroine suit. “This is one of the most difficult things I have to do for Darna, to step into the skimpy outfit and be ogled at by everyone.” she further states. To add to that, she had to actually do stunts and be harnessed while wearing the red-hot ensemble.

It is important to reiterate that this Angel is not even “trying” to seduce anyone. She does not really have a strict diet that she complies with nor does she go to the gym to work out. There is no time to spare with her busy schedule. Sleep, she believes is essential in maintaining your health and beauty. That is it. If only it were that easy for other people, huh? Angel simply exudes that sensual aura that even her innocent countenance cannot displace.

Who does she consider sexy? With women, Angel says it is never just about the appearance. Being sexy can be seen in the way she speaks, the way she thinks. For men, she unashamedly says that Vin Diesel is sexy for her. Then, it is The Rock and Brad Pitt.

So, for the guys who are trying to reach for a piece of heaven, you would have to be either a Hollywood actor or a wrestling star. But then, you know that Angels deserve more than the normal mortal man.

Nagsimula nang mag-shooting sina Richard Gutierrez at Angel Locsin ng pelikulang I Will Always Love You ng Regal sa isang lumang bahay sa Muntinlupa City.

Ikinuwento ni Manny Valera ang buod ng istorya na marami pa ring kilig scenes. Isang rich playboy si Richard at si Angel nama'y isang mahirap para maiba sa Let the Love Begin.

Sa July 16, aalis sina Angel at Richard for San Francisco para sa 10-day shooting. Dito kinunan ang eksenang isinama ni Richard sa States si Angel at pinag-aral pa nang hindi alam ng kanyang ina.

Kasama sa cast sina Jean Garcia at Lloyd Samartino (as Richard's parents), Bianca King (Richard's ex-girlfriend), Tuesday Vargas at Bearwin Meily. Si Mac Alejandre pa rin ang director at sina Suzette Doctolero at RJ Nuevas ang

Nalaman namin kay direk Manny na ang title at magiging theme song ng movie ay hindi ang kanta ni Whitney Houston sa The Bodyguard, kundi I'll Always Love You ni Michael Johnson.

Hindi pa malaman ng Regal kung kanino ipakakanta ang theme song, dahil hindi pa alam ni Rochelle Monteverde-Theo kung sino ang original singer. Nagtanung-tanong kami at nalaman namin kung sino ang kumanta nito.

Itsinika rin ni Manny na sa shooting, Darna ang tawag ng tao kay Angel at Aguiluz naman kay Richard. Tiyak na mababago ang itatawag sa young actor 'pag nag-air na ang Sugo sa GMA-7 starting June 27.

BUSINESS ACUMEN – Only in his early 20s, Richard Gutierrez is already showing business acumen. He just put up his own production company, Icedout, whose first venture is a celebrity drag race and car show billed "Hot Summer Nights." It is set for May 20 & 21 at PRA Promenade, Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City – with Manila Bay as backdrop.

Richard’s partner in "Hot Summer Nights" is his good friend Bryan Revilla.

Joining the event are Jomari Yllana and Richard’s half-brothers Tonton Gutierrez and Ramon Christopher, among other celebrities.

Despite his busy schedule, Richard manages to be a hands-on executive of "Hot Summer Nights," attending to details and talking to sponsors with the help of Bryan and other business associates. As of this writing, the sponsors are Bench, Smart, San Miguel Corp., GMA-Channel 7, Adobo Republic, Cosmetiderm, Play & Display, Toyz for the Boyz, Solar Sports, Sports Plus, 89.9 FM, 105.9 FM, 89.1 FM, and Uno magazine.

EPIC WITH PEQUE – Richard Gutierrez disclosed that director Peque Gallaga showed him a film project of epic proportions, set in the early ’40s (World War II years), just like "Oro, Plata, Mata. It is not, however, a sequel or rela-ted to "Oro," which Peque direc-ted in the early ’80s for the Expe-rimental Cinema of the Philip-pines.

Richard’s interested in producing the epic, "But the budget is huge, which Icedout Productions Corp. can’t afford. We’ll look for financiers."

Film production is part of Iced-out plans and if the Gallaga epic doesn’t push through, "We’ll con-sider other projects," Richard said. The actor has several stories in mind.

He also plans to produce an album for his youngest brother Richie Paul, "My brother is a very good rapper."

‘SUGO’ COMING SOON – Richard’s preparing for his next GMA telefantasia titled "Sugo." Which, according to PR Jun Lalin, will "jolt everyone, ibang-iba. Basta gugulatin kayo."

Richard has a film coming up for Regal, opposite Angel Locsin, his leading lady in the top-rating "Mulawin" and the blockbuster "Let the Love Begin," both under GMA. But considering his tight, tight schedule, taping almost every day, one wonders where and how he’ll find the time to shoot the Regal movie which will be shot abroad.

Darna.. extended.. at pina aga!

Pinakinggan din ng GMA-7 ang request ng viewers na ilagay sa mas maagang time slot ang Darna at Encantadia para hindi napupuyat ang mga batang viewers.

Simula sa Lunes, may pagbabago na sa primetime programming ng network.

After 24 Oras, isusunod na ang Darna, ka-back-to-back pa rin ang Encantadia, saka papasok ang Extra Challenge at panghuli sa telebabad ang All About Eve.

Kampante ang mga taga-Siyete na hindi maaapektuhan ang rating ng kanilang mga show sa pagbabago ng programming schedule.

Incidentally, extended for 10 weeks ang Darna at two seasons na ito tatakbo. Sa halip na July, sa last week ng August o first week ng September na ito magtatapos.

Samantala, dinala naman ng Channel 7 ang advertisers sa studio ng Encantadia at gaya ng reaction ng press, namangha rin sa ganda ng studio ang advertisers. Nalaman din nila kung saan napupunta ang malaking budget ng fantaserye.

"It gives me a certain high," said Richard, fresh from the box-office success of his and Angel Locsin’s big-screen starrer Let The Love Begin (following their also-hit GMA fantaserye, Mulawin). "But I’m not a reckless driver/racer."

"Oatmeal, sometimes. Eggs and vegetables."

"Very light lang. Zero carbs and high protein."

"Gourmet snacks, kasama na doon sa South Beach Diet."

What kind of workout do you do?

"Right now, very intense. I work out every day. I do it either in the gym or at home. I’m also into martial arts. I run a lot, too."

"Multi-vitamins and herbal medicines which I buy from GNC."

How much liquid do you take every day?

"Oh, lots and lots of water. At least eight glasses. Kailangan distilled water para mabilis nailalabas sa katawan."

"No, I’m not a soda person."

How much sleep do you get per night?

"Eight to 10 hours – when I’m not busy. But when working, I get only maybe half of that."

How do you cope with stress?

"Ang outlet ko sports. Besides what I mentioned already, I also play basketball every now and then. Or I just stay home and relax in my room. I just lie down and think of beautiful things."

How do you pamper yourself?

"Simple lang. I watch movies. I eat in a nice restaurant. Spend time with my brothers. Sa akin, pampering na ‘yon. Or get a massage once a week."

How’s your nightlife?

"Right now, I’m not into it, not as much as before. Parang I’m past the stage of going to clubs and bars and hanging out with friends. I’m focused on my career."

"None right now."

Sex life?

"Like my love life... none. I don’t have a girlfriend."

"Loose shorts and loose T-shirt."

"Casuals. Comfortable jeans. By Bench, of course!"

"I watch TV."

News nanaman!! Richard- susundan ni Raymond...hehehe

Katulad ng kambal niyang si Richard Gutierrez, may events din na balak i-mount si Raymond Gutierrez, pero dahil maliit pa lang ang ipon niya, tutulong muna si Raymond sa production company ng kanyang kakambal.

Very supportive si Raymond sa car show ni Richard, ang Hot Summer Nights na gaganapin sa Mayo 20 and 21 sa may bandang Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City.

Maraming suggestions si Raymond para sa lalong ikatatagumpay ng Hot Summer Nights.

"May mga plano rin kami ni Richard na events at baka ‘yon ang gawin namin sa susunod," pagkukuwento sa amin ni Raymond.

Nag-e-enjoy si Raymond sa pagho-host niya sa S.O.P. Gigsters, pero type pa rin niya na bigyan siya ng GMA 7 management ng isa pang show.

Ang balak daw ni Raymond ay mag-ipon nang mag-ipon at kapag may enough money na siya ay pupunta siya sa New York para makipagsapalaran.

Sa magkakapatid, si Raymond ang very creative. Ang galing-galing mag-drawing ni Raymond, kaya ang suggestion noon ng tatay nilang si Eddie Gutierrez ay mag-apply siya sa mga cartoon studios sa Tate.

Maliban kina Ruffa at Rocky, si Ritchie ang puwedeng ituring na 'made in the Philippines' sa mga anak nina Eddie at Annabelle. Si Richard at ang kanyang kakambal na si Raymond, together with Elvis, sinundan ng kambal, ay pawang 'gawang 'Tate.'

Four years old na sina Richard at Raymond nang mag-decide ang mag-anak na bumalik ng Pilipinas, para magbalik-pelikula si Eddie.

Matatalino, masigasig at masisipag daw ang kanyang mga anak, ani Annabelle. Who would believe, after all, that, at 21, maiisipan na ni Richard na magtatag ng kanyang sariling event business, tulad ng Iced Out Productions Corporations. Itinatag niya ito in February 2005 with his brothers as incorporators.

But for his company's first venture, ayon kay Richard, which is a celebrity drag race and a car show called Hot Summer Nights, ang ka-partner niya ay ang kanyang friend na si Bryan Revilla, son nina Senator Bong Revilla at Lani Mercado.

The event will be held on May 20 and 21 at the PRA Prominade, Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City.

For this event, according to Richard, talagang sinuyod nila ni Bryan ang lahat ng kanilang sponsors. Ipinaliwanag nila ang purpose ng event and what their company will gain from it should they sponsor the show.

So far, nakumbinsi nina Richard at Bryan to support the show ang Bench (which, incidentally, he endorses); San Miguel Corporation, GMA Channel 7, Adobo Republic Cosmatiderm, Play and Display, Toyz for the Boyz, Solar, Sports Plus, 89.9FM, 105.9 FM, 89.1 FM and Uno Magazine.

Nagpatalbugan sa pagiging ‘couple of the night’ ang dalawang sikat na showbiz couple last Saturday sa birthday celebration ng dermatologist na si Dra. Pie Calayan.

Hindi sinasadya ng mag-asawang Cesar Montano & Sunshine Cruz at real life sweethearts na sina Angel Locsin & Oyo Boy Sotto na pagkaguluhan sila ng media.

Naurirat ang dalawang buwang pagbubuntis ni Sunshine samantalang ang relasyon nina Angel at Oyo ang kinulit ng mga press.
